Chicken Varuval Recipe Ingredients


  • Chicken : 1/4kg cut into small pieces 
  • Onion pieces : 1/2 cup 
  • Ginger garlic paste : 1 spoon 
  • Dry red chilli : 3 
  • Cumin seeds : 1/2 spoon 
  • Curry leaves few : 
  • Coriander powder : 1 spoon 
  • Black Pepper powder : 2 spoons 
  • Turmeric powder : 1/2 spoon 
  • Chilli Powder : 1/2 spoon 
  • Salt to taste : 
  • Oil : 4 spoons 
  • Curd : 4 spoons 

Chicken Varuval Recipe Procedure


Wash well to the chicken pieces. 
Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds, red chillies and curry leaves. 
Now add onion pieces and fry until golden brown color. 
Then add ginger garlic paste fry a minute. 
Then add chicken pieces mix once, and add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder pepper powder and salt mix well and close with lid and cook for 20 minutes. 
And keep it in low heat and keep it on low heat. 
Now add curd in to the chicken and cook for more 10 minutes. 
Finally add a pinch of garam masala and coriander leaves. 
Mix once and keep it in high flame and fry for when the chicken becomes wet now turn off the flame. 
Chicken varuval good tastes for any Rice dish.
